A Little Bit About Me

Hi I am Laura Day, a visual artist, graphic designer and business owner of Learn to Screen-Print. I have completed 9 years of training in Fine Art and Design. I am available on a freelance basis to create custom art or design for your home or business. Being a versatile and commercial artist, I would be happy to talk with you on any creative projects you have in mind.

I would describe my Graphic Design style as bold, edgy and urban. Although I’m an adaptable artist so I can lend my skills to most design styles. I can complete any design work for print production onto paper ie: business cards, brochures, posters and as a Screen-Printer I can also design for printing onto: t-shirts, jumpers, tote bags etc.

I love making art on a large scale and can produce custom art canvas prints or wall murals for your home or office. My Fine Art work is inspired by popular culture and fashion. I adore pattern and textures and am fascinated by the markings and decay of the urban landscape. I work in various mediums utilizing elements of photography, illustration, digital media, collage, painting and stencils. Fashion and the female form continually inspire me, and there is a definite feminine quality to most of my work.
